MOLD returned to the scene of Saturday's North Wales League slaughter to send suffering opponents St Asaph crashing out of the Welsh Cup in a scorching back-to-back double just a day later.
Fresh from flaying 241-7 declared before routing St Asaph for 98 in the Premier Division, Mold handed out a second lesson in a resounding six-wicket cup win in a second-round tie twice previously postponed due to the Elwy Park ground being flooded.
