Jun. 7--MASSENA -- A new taxi company could be coming to town.
Douglas F. LaPradd intends to open a taxi company in August at 43 Liberty Ave.
LaPradd will present a site drawing at a village Planning Board meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday. If the Planning Board approves the site plan, LaPradd will have to gain approval from the Massena village Board of Trustees before the cab company can open.
He plans to begin the business with two cars and to make employees co-owners. The tentative name for the company is Massena Taxi.
LaPradd plans to house the company in the building he uses for auto repairs. The ...
