Whether jokes are belly-laughers, head-scratchers or eye-rollers, kids love them, and anyone can be the butt (yes, I said "butt"!).
For the final Mindworks of the 2004-2005 school year, we asked students: "What is the best joke or riddle you've heard? Or, share your favorite original joke. Keep it clean!"
Most students responded with gusto, several submitting three or more jokes and adding their own "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" laugh track to the end of each one. Just over 1,200 students responded, an unusually small number even for a spring edition. That may have been due to the state testing that occurred ...
