1 Go out in the midday sun

The latest research from Manchester University has found that 10 to 15 minutes in the midday sun, without sunscreen, is actually good for you. The noon sun contains the most UVB radiation, which prompts the production of vitamin D in the body, which is needed for healthy bones. Of course, UVB radiation is what burns the skin so keep your exposure short. Otherwise, use thorough protection.
