Another long look in the rear-view mirror collection of live recordings from ill-fated singer/songwriter Townes Van Zandt that is as highly recommended as its acclaimed 1997 predecessor. Also compiled by the Texas troubadour shortly before his sudden death, this project draws from a variety of concerts at clubs, cafes and coffeehouses between 1976 and 1979, often offering in-the-moment, unvarnished interpretations of material he had already recorded in the studio.
