Wall Street analysts have increased their 2005 earnings estimates for ConocoPhillips (COP) nearly 25% over the past three months and have raised their 2006 estimates almost 29%, according the latest edition of investment newsletter Dow Theory Forecasts. In fact, editors say the integrated oil and gas company ranks among the top one-fifth of stocks for increases in analysts' earnings estimates.
"Stocks with rising earnings estimates backed up by solid fundamentals are worthy of consideration," Dow Theory analysts say.
