Nantong Reilly Chemical Co., Ltd. has completed the first phase of its pyridine production unit. The total capacity of pyridine and trimethyl pyridine has increased from 11 000 t/a in the original design to more than 16 000 t/a, over-fulfilling the capacity expansion target of 30%. The second phase has already been launched and is expected to be completed in 2006. After the equipment renovation in the second phase, the capacity of the pyridine production unit will reach 22 000 t/a, being twice the capacity today.
