Rubber antioxidant RD has extensive applications in natural rubber and synthetic rubbers such as neoprene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber and isoprene rubber. Owing to its light yellow color, its can be also used in food and sanitary rubber products.
1. Production
Antioxidant RD has excellent properties. Its resistance to ozone oxidization is twice the effect of antioxidant D. It also has advantages of abundant resources, low cost, extensive application scope and low toxicity. It has therefore become an ideal antioxidant to replace antioxidant D.
