DaimlerChrysler is determined to prevent the French faction from taking control of the Franco-German aeronautics group EADS, Jurgen Schrempp, Chairman of the German automobile manufacturer (the group's reference shareholder) told the Welt am Sontag weekly. "We will prevent a unilateral acquisition of control of EADS by the French", said Mr Schrempp, responding to recent comments by Noel Forgeard in the French daily Le Figaro.
