Jun. 9--Arthur Rothkopf, the retiring president of Lafayette College, has been named to a top position at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Easton school said Wednesday.
Rothkopf, whose 12-year tenure as president ends June 30, will become senior vice president and counselor to the president of the national Chamber. The group represents 2,800 state and local chambers at the national level, and describes itself as the world's largest business federation.
