Jun. 9--Lakeside 370 Business Park, a massive Mississippi River flood plain development proposed by St. Peters and opposed by environmentalists, will likely be sold to a developer who would take over the project from the city.
St. Peters aldermen are scheduled to consider tonight at their regular meeting a bill authorizing a Lakeside 370 joint agreement with Kaplan Development and Investment Co.
Environmentalists, such as Adolphus Busch IV, oppose building in the flood plain, including construction of a levee, contending it would worsen flooding in St. Charles County and in Illinois, where officials in Alton and elsewhere ...
