Phoenix, Ariz. -- The Twins already have exchanged proposals with many of their selections from this week's first-year player draft, including first-round pick Matt Garza, a righthander from Fresno State.
"We don't think this is going to be that hard," said Mike Radcliff, the Twins' director of scouting.
The Twins had their first face-to-face meeting with Garza and his advisor, Nez Balelo, on Thursday. Balelo also represents Trevor Plouffe, the Twins' first-round pick last season who signed for $1.5 million.
Garza is not expected to receive that much in a signing bonus. This year's draft is ...
