MOSCOW, June 10 (PTI) Russia has credible information that the recent mass rioting involving looting of arms and seizure of government buildings in the Uzbek city of Andijan were organised from Afghan territory, Defence Minister Sergey Ivanov has claimed.

He, however, rejected the NATO demand for the international probe into the events of May 13 in the volatile Ferghana Valley city, saying it was the task of the authorities in Uzbekistan.

"Our information is quite reliable: everything that happened in Andijan was inspired from Afghan territory," Ivanov said in his televised statement at a press conference in Brussels after the session of Russian-NATO ...
