LOWELL - The Lowell softball team has ridden the pitching arms of Hebert girls to some lofty heights.
Just four years after her older sister Tabitha pitched the Red Raiders to the sectional final and came up short against Billerica, Lowell hurler Katie Hebert made history.
The junior right-hander went the distance in the No. 11 Red Raiders' 10-3 upset of previously unbeaten, top-seeded Reading last night in the Division 1 North final at Martin Field.
