Jun. 14--It has a new name and different owners, but the shave ice cart on the Pearl Street Mall is serving the same icy treats this summer that it has been for the last 16 years.
After running the cart last summer, Sunya Plattner and her daughter Tasha Pedersen bought the cart this year from Chris Norris, who has owned it for the last eight years. They're changing the name from Paddy and Thor's Home on the Range to Sunshine Shave Ice. But other than a new sign, Plattner and Pedersen won't change a thing about the popular cart.
