Jun. 14--Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley is No. 9.
That's ninth in the nation for percentage of employers expecting to hire workers this summer, according to a survey by Manpower Inc. released today.
"Employers are more confident about hiring than they were a year ago," said Donna Marie Benner, a local spokeswoman for temporary staffing service Manpower.
Fifty-three percent of businesses interviewed in the Lehigh Valley said they expected to increase employment in July, August or September.
