U.S. President George W. Bush and his South Korean counterpart, Roh Moo Hyun, held talks Friday in Washington to reconfirm maintenance of the U.S.-South Korean alliance as well as the significance of six-party talks aimed at achieving North Korea's nuclear disarmament.
However, we are concerned with the outcome of the talks because a question remained over how closely the two leaders agreed on measures to deal with Pyongyang's development of nuclear weapons.
