The first phone call came at 10:10p.m. Saturday and University of Wisconsin guard Jolene Anderson's mom, Julie, had alarming news for Badgers women's coach Lisa Stone.
Jolene Anderson, a sophomore-to-be at UW, was headed for emergency root canal surgery on her two front teeth, which were partially broken off when she was knocked to the floor during the USA Basketball Under-19 World Championship team's 73-57 gold-medal victory over Russia at the International Sports Invitational in San Diego.
