Jun. 13--ROCKVILLE -- Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia have launched a regional initiative to further enhance the region's reputation as a global leader in nanotechnology research and engineering.
Maryland Gov. Robert Ehrlich, Virginia Governor Mark R. Warner and District of Columbia Mayor Anthony A. Williams made the announcement of the a strategic alliance called the Chesapeake Nanotechnology Initiative, or CNI.
