LAST week, the Irish Expert Group on Future Skills Needs launched its report 'Languages and Enterprise', which argued that a lack of foreign language skills would be detrimental to the future successful development of enterprise in Ireland, especially in the context of developing a greater understanding of international markets. The report pointed out two distinct advantages of such skills amongst the workforce.
