As technologists, we live day in and day out with massive progress in science and technology. It's hard to appreciate how much progress takes place because we see it every day. It's like the difference between seeing your child grow day by day and visiting a relative and seeing their child after a couple of year's absence. You don't notice your child's growth because it's continuous. On the other hand, you are shocked at how quickly your relative's child has grown. So it is with technology's growth.
