1) A medium-size manufacturer may be undecided about whether to go with a portable dust collection system vs. a central system. What are the pros and cons of both? What about a combination of these two types of dust collection methods?
Doug Roder: When installing a dust collection system in your shop, a major consideration is the size and layout of the shop's equipment. A central system designed to handle many pieces of equipment will tend to require a larger dust collection unit.
