MINNEAPOLIS, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- At 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2005 the Page Education Foundation will honor 580 grant recipients at a ceremony at the William Mitchell College of Law Auditorium in Saint Paul. Carl Eller, National Football League Hall of Famer, will deliver the keynote speech.
Established in 1988, the Page Education Foundation has awarded more than 5,600 grants to over 2,600 Minnesota students of color who attend post- secondary schools in the state. Page Grants range from $1,000 to $2,000 per year, and are renewable. In return for this financial assistance, Page Scholars must complete a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service each ...
