PINEHURST, N.C. -- For a while, Olin Browne thought about becoming an anthropologist.
Then he considered marine biology and at some point even switched his major to organic chemistry, Spanish and economics - though not necessarily in that order.
"I had eight or nine majors, a couple of them twice," Browne quipped.
In the midst of all this confusion, Browne finally found something he could be passionate about - golf.
