Jun. 15--Malcolm Glazer is targeting next Wednesday as the date he will de-list Manchester United. The US tycoon set the deadline as he tightened his grip on the Old Trafford club.
His investment vehicle Red Football now speaks for 97.3pc of the shares -- still not enough to allow him to compulsorily purchase stock, but he can press on with taking ManU private.
He has also said he will keep open his [pounds sterling]3-a-share offer for stock for a further two weeks in order to bump up his holding by the 0.3pc he needs under UK company law to buy out the minority investors.
