Local singer-songwriter Lori McKenna talked onstage about "lucky breaks" and "big news" in her life when she played at Sanders Theatre in Cambridge last month.
It's still not official, but according to several industry sources, as many as four of Stoughton resident McKenna's songs will be featured on the upcoming album by country superstar Faith Hill. The CD is tentatively titled "Fireflies," after an early McKenna song Boston folk fans know well. Hill's famous hubby, Tim McGraw, is also said to be interested in recording a McKenna ditty.
