Airline Posts Significant Gains in Both Milwaukee and Kansas City
MILWAUKEE, June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Recently released market share data shows that Midwest Airlines, together with its regional carrier Midwest Connect, carried 43.1% of all passengers departing from Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport in the first quarter of 2005. The first quarter data represents a 2.6 percentage point increase over fourth quarter 2004.
The next five largest carriers serving Mitchell all saw their market shares decrease during the same period: Northwest Airlines - 20.9%, down 1.1 percentage points; Delta Air Lines - 5.2%, down 1.2 percentage ...
