Jun. 23--There could be some activity brewing for the site of a closed Watertown restaurant on the bank of the Black River.
A town of Watson company has applied for a license to sell beer, wine and liquor at 500 Newell St., former site of Red Lion Brewery Co.
Zenekim Associates Inc. posted legal notices in Wednesday's Times indicating it has applied for licenses under state Alcoholic Beverage Control Law to sell the beverages for on-premise consumption and to sell beer at retail at the microbrewery.
