LONDON -- The Middle East peace process, Iran's nuclear program and tackling opium production in Afghanistan topped the agenda at a meeting of G8 foreign ministers today, officials said.
Britain's Foreign Secretary Jack Straw will host the daylong summit in London that brings together his counterparts from the United States, Canada, Russia, Japan, France, Germany and Italy.
On the sidelines, representatives of the so-called Quartet that drafted the road map to peace in the Middle East -- the United States, United Nations, European Union and Russia -- will discuss Israel's planned withdrawal from Gaza and ...
