Innovation Nation? is a campaign to examine the role of innovation in the UK economy. Computing, in partnership with Intellect, the high-tech trade association, aims to identify the key steps to ensuring that the UK is able to innovatively exploit technology for social and economic gain. This week, our panel of experts discusses whether the government is doing the right things to foster an innovation nation. The panel believes that there needs to be greater co-operation across government, and leadership from the top, breaking down traditional barriers by developing professionals with hybrid IT and business skills.
