Maxim's MAX8620Y is a micro power-management integrated circuit (microPMIC) that integrates a 500mA step-down dc/dc converter, two 300mA low-dropout linear regulators, and a 30ms reset into a small 9[mm.sup.2] TDFN package with a maximum height of 0.8mm. Its integration saves space and cost powering the microprocessor ha portable equipment where efficiency and total solution size are critical.
