LYNNHAVEN - Evelyn Leonard, 76, moved effortlessly across the floor to the strains of the "Electric Slide."
Leonard was one of about 70 senior citizens who attended the recent Senior Prom at Bow Creek Recreation Center. The prom was put on by Tallwood High School's Honor Society in coordination with the Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation Department.
Leonard gave high marks to the Tallwood Honor Society members, who put the evening together. They greeted her graciously, snapped her picture and escorted her to a seat.
