The recent Supreme Court decision allowing "local" governments to transfer ownership of private property from one individual to another under eminent domain is most frightening.
While I understand the reasoning behind the court's decision that local elected officials know best the reality of today's politics is very different from those at the writing of the Fifth Amendment.
