EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Air New Zealand took a closer look at the airline industry's overcomplicated and outdated long-haul pricing structure, and announced today that it is changing its policies. From implementing a new "Advance Deal" policy that enables consumers who book early to get the best deal to removing many of today's frustrating fare restrictions, the international carrier will implement sweeping changes to its long-haul pricing model on June 21, 2005. The update is one of several upgrades the airline is making to its long-haul service this year to make the flying experience easier and more comfortable for North American travelers.
