NORFOLK - Last fall, Oakwood Elementary had two students who were identified as gifted, according to school records. At W.H. Taylor Elementary, there were 48.
But both schools got the same number of specialized gifted teachers: one-half.
Parents at Taylor said their half-time gifted resource teacher seemed overextended, and it's one reason they believe their children's gifted education has been sub par .
