SEATTLE -- Tomorrow, Starbucks Coffee Company (Nasdaq:SBUX) will give away more than one million complimentary cups of Starbucks(R) Ice Cream in the first-ever Starbucks Ice Cream Social. The complimentary samples of Starbucks(R) Java Chip Ice Cream will be distributed to customers during the afternoon, while supplies last, on Wednesday, June 29, in more than 6,000 Starbucks locations across the United States. The ice cream is being sent to Starbucks stores via FedEx Express overnight delivery tonight and will arrive just in time for customers to celebrate summer and the early arrival of national ice cream month.
