Jun. 28--Remaining workers at the Milwaukee Public Museum will take pay and benefit cuts to stave off more layoffs and help stabilize the ailing institution, a labor leader and museum officials confirmed Monday. Union workers approved a two-year package of pay cuts, increased employee contributions to health insurance and retirement plans, and other benefit reductions, according to Rick Regazzi, president of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 526.
