For 126 years, the national law firm of Fish & Richardson PC. has had one female on its management committee.
That changed recently with the announcement that Juanita Brooks, a principal in the firm's San Diego office, will be the second woman to join the venerable group.
As a committee member, Brooks, 51, who joined Fish in 2000, will help set and implement strategy for the firm.
Brooks has had plenty of recognition during her career, including being named among the top 25 intellectual property lawyers in California (2002, '03) and top 30 (2005) by the Daily Journal, a legal publication that serves Northern and Southern California; one of the ...
