AMAZINGLY as many as one in 80 people in the UK experience a food intolerance according to reports.
While some critics claim the problem is merely a fashionable health fad, exacerbated by the popularity of self-testing kits, for true sufferers each meal may be a minefield.
And with the potential of hampering recovery, hospital patients are particularly at risk.
Now one local hospital has taken the unprecedented step of introducing meals for those with food intolerance.
