CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Surrounded by 1,215 acres of lakes and woodlands -- and bordered by the Catawba River -- officials broke ground today on Sun City Carolina Lakes by Del Webb. It's the first Sun City development in the central Carolinas and the first since Pulte Homes purchased Del Webb in 2000.
