James P. Sweatt of Natick, an auto mechanic, died Friday in an auto accident in Natick. He was 61.
A Natick resident for 23 years, Mr. Sweatt was born in Cambridge. He was a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School.
He was an auto mechanic for many years at Central Tire Co. He formerly worked at Bernardi Auto.
Mr. Sweatt enjoyed fishing, music, history and home repair projects.
