Republic Gold is aiming to use the GEOCAT processing technology to develop its Hodgkinson Basin project near Cairns in Queensland. GEOCAT, developed by US firm Geobiotics, is only being used at one other gold mine at the present time, namely the Agnes gold mine in South Africa.
