CHICAGO -- CMI, a Chicago-based manufacturer and marketer of CraftMaster(R) Door Designs, announced today it has acquired the assets of independent door manufacturer C&S Door Corporation of Christiansburg, Va. As a result, CMI will immediately integrate its raised-panel door designs with C&S and begin manufacturing finished interior door products. The move further expands CMI's portfolio of diverse, yet complementary product lines, including raised-panel interior doors, treated exterior composite trim and composite panels. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
