Jul. 1--What's more American than apple pie and Chevrolet?
Look no further than Admiral Flag Poles Inc. of Columbus, celebrating 40 years of selling in-ground poles and flags of U.S.-made components from its Far East Side headquarters.
What began as a sideline for commercial printer Leo Henne has evolved into a one-stop shop for those who want to show their colors.
"It's fun, it really is," said owner Mike Henne, Leo's son. "You're making a living selling these, but you're also doing your little part promoting patriotism."
