Seeking to aggressively pursue national spot advertising and fully tap into its potential, KBL-TV Inc. last week named two corporate directors of national spot sales.
Thomas Cahill, sales manager of the Chicago office of national rep firm Cable Networks Inc., was appointed to one of the KBL-TV slots. Ken North, currently national sales manager for KBLCOM Inc.'s Paragon system in San Antonio, Texas, was given the second corporate position for national spot sales.
It's fairly unusual for an MSO to have even one corporate director of national spot, let alone two. But officials at KBL-TV, the ad sales arm for KBLCOM, said two people are needed in the post to ...
