A Madison County Court jury Friday convicted a Syracuse man of two felony crimes, but deadlocked on the most serious charge against him.
Patrick Lanno, 46, was found guilty of criminal contempt and menacing, for violating an order of protection that prohibited him from seeing his wife, Michele Lanno, and for threatening her with an awl. He faces up to four years in prison when he is sentenced Sept.13.
After more than 11 hours of deliberation Thursday and Friday, however, the jurors said they were deadlocked on the second-degree kidnapping charge against him.
