Acquisition Creates Nation's Largest Roofing Company

SKOKIE, Ill., July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Tecta America Corp. today announced the acquisition of a majority of General Roofing's operating assets from Republic Financial Corporation, Denver, CO. General Roofing, a former leader in the marketplace, completed a reorganization in the fourth quarter of 2004. The acquisition makes Tecta America the nation's largest commercial roofing company with 23 divisions, 47 locations nationwide, and a workforce of more than 3,000 employees.
