Women's organizing as a subject of study privileges women's agency and encourages students to redefine themselves as political actors. It offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate the relevance of often inaccessible debates in feminist theory, for example, about fluid identifies, feminism as process, and contextual analysis. This article explores four ways of examining women's organizing that provide entry points into theory. (Journal abstract)
