About 238 upscale condominiums and 106 townhouses have moved a step closer to becoming part of Florence -- if the city agrees to annex property off Hopeful Church Road in unincorporated Boone County.
The Boone County Planning Commission on Wednesday approved a zone change for the development, tentatively called Three Fountains, on 33.8 acres across from Surfwood Drive, next to the Florence Church of God.
