Unipetrol to save PLN 125 mln by 2009 via PKN Orlen's OPTIMA program
Prague. July 8 INTERFAX EUROPE - Polish petrochemical giant PKN Orlen, owner of Czech petrochemical holding Unipetrol, has introduced its new OPTIMA program, which should slash Unipetrol's operating costs by PLN 125 mln by 2009, primarily by optimizing the firm's production operations and logistics, PKN Orlen announced in a press release.
PKN Orlen expects to announce its plan to integrate Unipetrol into its operations by the end of September 2005.
